Adult Nordic Ski Lessons:

We provide adult lessons in classic Nordic skiing, skate skiing, and waxing on a periodic basis. We will announcing dates for the adult lessons during the ski season.

Junior Jackrabbit Ski Program

This is a program designed for kids aged 5 and up. The program combines snow, fun, exercise and lots of fresh air. It's inexpensive and rentals are available for a nominal charge. Come out to the Pembina Nordic Ski Trails with your whole family and enjoy the beauty of the trails, the scenery, fiends and our lovely chalet.

Lessons are held on Sundays from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Pembina Nordic Ski Chalet (6 km east of Hwy 22 on Township Rd 494).

Keep track of your childs skiing outside of Jackrabbit Lessons to try to reach a Snow Goal. Refer to your Jack Rabbit booklet or poster for more details on Snow Goals.

Parent Tips:
1. Please come early enough to have children waxed and prepared to warm up at 2:00 so groups don't have to wait. This is a cold weather sport.
2. Ensure your gang are not skiing in the parking lot; that they carry their equipment to the ski racks and keep track of their own skis, poles and boots.
3. Help kids dress in layers that can be removed without too much heavy snow stuff (unless they are bunny level).
4. Change to dry socks and mitts just before skiing. Always have a hat or head band.
5. Always bring water and carry in a bum pack if possible.
6. Bring re-usable cups, and other food serving items for our special occasions. WE try to be environmentally friendly.
7. Ski whenever you can with your kids so they develop a lifelong activity.
8. Most importantly have FUN and feel great about your time spent with family and friends enjoying the beauty of our magnificent trail system (and thank any volunteer you see making this all possible!)

Please register online at Zone 4 Page for all junior ski programs. Membership in the club is mandatory to participate in the junior ski programs.
